In the lead up to the Manchester United, Lampard has hinted that Arrizabalaga could return in goal and Bosnich believes the Spaniard deserves to get the chance to prove his worth to the head coach, he told: “Personally I would bring him back in, especially if Lampard is pleased with his reaction. It’s happened to all of us in terms of getting left out of the squad and the most important thing during those training sessions and if you have to play in a reserve game is that your attitude is 100 per cent, because everyone is watching you and how you react.”
Chelsea’s form has been poor over the past few months where they have failed to win back-to-back league games. They have accumulated just 15 points from the past 13 matches and that’s look awful compared to the 26 points gained from the opening 12 league games. As such, they are going through one of their worst phase under Lampard and the players will be hoping to turn around the fortunes when they host United at the Bridge.
United have got the better of them on two occasions during the current campaign but on each occasion, Marcus Rashford was the key difference maker with two goals. The England international won’t be available for the forthcoming game due to a back problem and that could enhance the Blues’ chances of winning against a United team, who have failed to score for the past three league games.
