Cesc Fabregas has claimed that Arsenal midfielder Matteo Guendouzi is set for a big future at the club. The 20-year-old has been an important figure in the Arsenal midfield despite coming to the club only in the summer of 2018. However, he has quickly grown into one of the important players at the club with his ability to stay industrious no matter the conditions. Guendouzi is not just regarded as a key player for the Gunners, but he is considered as a key member in the Premier League as a whole. Hence, it was not surprising that he has received a call up for the French national team.
The midfielder’s enthusiasm and work rate has been able to endear to supporters, who have made him an instant fan favourite. Fabregas, though, is more than impressed by his ability on the ball. Regarded as one of the greatest players in Arsenal’s recent history, Fabregas played a crucial role in helping the club become one of the aesthetically pleasing outfits in the division.
Even though he went on to represent the likes of Barcelona and Chelsea towards the latter days of his career, Fabregas is still held in high regard by Arsenal supporters. The former captain has declared his admiration forGuendouzi even as Arsenal try to overcome an inconsistent start to the season.
“Gotta love Guendouzi. Can play good or not so good but always shows up in difficult moments at such a young age.Big future ahead of him at Arsenal,” said Fabregas. Guendouzi was once again impressive for Arsenal as the gunners came back from behind in the recent 1-1 draw with Manchester United at Old Trafford. Even though this was yet another disappointing result away from home, Arsenal have been able to remain in contention for a top four position this season.
